Library
The school has two libraries. One for the junior section and the other for the senior section. The library facility is enjoyed by all students from class I to class XII. Children from class IV onwards are allowed to issue a book to take home. Library comprises of fiction books, both English and in Hindi  following the CBSE norm of 5 books per child. Apart from this, the Library also has reference books and Special reference books such as the encyclopedia, picture dictionary etc. which the student can read in the reading room provided in the library.

Laboratory:        
Physics: A place where experiments are performed to establish the rules and laws taught in the regular classes. Students from class IX-XII perform experiments as per the syllabus of CBSE.the teacher student ratio is around 1:20 Whereas students of lower classes occasionally visit to understand many simple scientific facts. Mr. Manohar Mukherjee  is there as the Lab Assistant whose duty is to maintain all the equipments, apparatus and charts.
Chemistry: Chemistry is the science of experiments. Scientific concept can be easily understood by performing experiments.A chemistry Laboratory is that place where experiments in chemistry is performed. A student needs to understand the proper way of working in chemistry laboratory.
We follow the safety and laboratory rules. Each student do their experiment separately with the help of the concerned teacher.
Biology:  The Biology Lab holds many models, Pictures, museum specimen. Students of class IX- class XII have weekly practical periods where they carry out several experiments during the year. Each child does their own experiments separately taking help of the concerned teacher.Children of the lower classes occasionally visit the lab to view the samples present in the Lab.
Computer Lab: The Computer Lab of Valley View School presently comprises of 25 computers with the latest configurations. New computers are also purchased periodically. Troubleshooting regarding software and/or hardware is taken care of immediately. In case of major problems, not more than two days are taken to overcome it. Student computer ratio is 2:1. This helps the students in better understanding of the subject and the student gets enough opportunity to carry out the practicals given to them.
Students are also allowed to access the internet for their projects and for information purpose.
The lab also has a projector which the teacher uses in explaining certain topics and programs as and when necessary. This not only gives a clearer picture and better understanding of the subject but also creates interest in the students.


Audio-Visual
Children from the Montessori up to standard V enjoy the AV facility of Valley View School where children movies and educational CDs are shown to them. This is very much enjoyed by the students and  it complements there routine academic structure.
AV Room is also used by senior school for science and social science subjects.



Sports Achievements
Sports is an integral part of any educational system for the holistic development of the child. Valley View School supports and encourage their students in active participation in various sports. As a result, students have often made the school proud by winning in several sporting events.

About School


Valley View School is an English Medium Co-Educational Institution, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), Delhi, having classes from Nursery to Std Twelve (Plus Two) situated in the TRF Nagar, P.O. Telco of Jamshedpur.
The School was initiated on the 12th June 1989 under the aegis of Jamshedpur Education Trust drawing a membership from the Management of TRF Ltd., Educationists and Prominent Citizens of this city. In 1989 the School had classes up to Std. three with approx. 250 students. Presently the school has classes up to Std. twelve with a student strength of 1425 with 47 teachers in the faculty. The school provides a liberal, transparent, unbiased, motivating, and caring educational environment for the students. The Educational Programme offered by the School is to prepare students for AISSCE (XII) Board Examination conducted by the CBSE, Delhi. The teaching – learning process caters to the intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of the students.
There are frequent interactions between students, teachers, parents & Principal, promoting mutual understanding and trust to further the interests of the students; thereby enhancing their learning capabilities, skills & talents.
With the Suppliers and Partners the school maintains sustaining relationships based on ethical business practices without compromising on cost, quality and delivery.
